Sportina 680 - Sails

I´m looking for my new boat (Sportina 680) the specifications for the spinnaker pole, for a symetric spinnaker and sails. Does someone more details or know a sail-maker in Germany that know it?

Welcom on the forum and safe miles with your new boat!

AI says:

The size of a spinnaker pole is determined by the yacht's "J" measurement (the distance from the mast to the forestay). The pole length should be approximately two-thirds of this "J" measurement. Other measurements, such as diameter and weight, vary depending on the type and material of the pole, with aluminum and carbon being popular options.

Key Factors
Length: This is the most important measurement and is determined by the yacht's "J" measurement. The "J" measurement is the straight-line distance from the deck to the front of the mast at the deck.
Diameter: The diameter of the pole varies depending on the model. For example, aluminum poles have diameters ranging from 57 mm to 100 mm, while carbon poles come in specific sizes, such as 59 mm.
Weight: The weight depends on the material. For example, a 3.80-meter aluminum pole weighs 2700 grams, while a 4.50-meter pole weighs 3900 grams.
Adjustability: Many spinnaker poles are telescopic and therefore adjustable, which is useful for fine-tuning the pole length.
On large boats with a heavy spinnaker pole, the pole is attached to the mast at one end, and the opening fitting is on the other. On small boats like the clever 23, it's common to use a symmetrical pole as a double ender.
I made my spinnaker pole from an aluminum tube and two spinnaker fittings. See link. I'd have to go to the boat to find out the thickness and length.

Koen, can you provide us with the measurements of your spinnaker poles?
