Hello everyone!
I’m happy to finally introduce myself as a new owner of a Clever 23.
I’m originally from Spain, but I have been living in Amsterdam for a few years. I’m working on my Dutch, I’ll be happy to practice in replies to other posts!
I have been learning to sail for the last 2 years, mostly dinghies and valks. But now it was time for me to take the step and buy my first sailboat.
It’s a big and overwhelming step. A lot to learn and so many first times. But I have to thank everyone who has contributed to the forum, because it makes me feel a lot more comfortable seeing all the shared knowlege here, and that I am not on my own.
My sail area will be, I guess, Ijmeer, Markermeer and Gooimeer if algae is not much of an issue. I’m new to the area as well.
My sailboat is Snug. It might be a well known boat for some of you! I’m keeping the name and glad to continue her story.
This is the boat at home now. Next step, do some minor fixes and step the mast.
