CE declaration of conformity

Hi thanks to @Optimist we now have an official CE conformity declaration in German. Passed it through Deepl.com to get a decent english translation. Here goes for future reference.

CE conformity declaration - (translated to EN) S-680 Eignershandbuch PL-SPODB623C303 (2017_01_12 11_22_29 UTC).pdf (471,6 KB)
S-680 Eignershandbuch PL-SPODB623C303 (2017_01_12 11_22_29 UTC).pdf (267,4 KB)

It got lots of nice recommendations and info, be sure to check it out. If some figures / images are missing look at the german original.

Hello !
I,m a new member and have a New Classic 700 from 2005.
I would also be really grateful if someone could help me out with a “Certificate of Conformity” for my boat.
Also, the interior hull lining - (yellow/gold with a small blue pattern) is now looking a bit faded and tired. I,m wondering if anybody knows a supplier for this fabric ?

Hello, the fabric is a standard that was used in a certain period, just like clothes the fashion changes. So I’d look around for something different.
We did our interior lining last winter, I used insulation foam that is used in cars and campers, and a filt that is water-resistant (does not mold, and breathes damp easily) It is quite a job to do, but afterwards your boat looks a lot better
And a warm welcome to the forum!

Hello,
Many thanks for your response to my enquiry.
Yes, I kind of expected that the material would be obsolete by now but thought to ask anyway.
So, back to Google and see if I can find a good substitute !

Hi just to mention that i do think it is a fabric that is used on other types of boats as well. Came across it now and then looking at other boats.

It is probably still to be had somewhere and i do like the look of it using the one and the other side of the fabric in a combined way. Google image search with a close up of the fabric?

Do let us know when you find it

Hello Again,

I,ve found a couple of Polish yacht fabric suppliers and have sent them an enquiry.

I have found the original upholstery material as discussed previously. The Polish company - KOVER. PL- have it.
12.60€ per linear metre (143cm width)

That’s not bad, I paid more for my upholstery, but it is better in damp conditions I found out (no marks on the walls, but the cushions were soaking wet due to leaking windows)

That is a proper way to test the material! :joy:

Can you post a link?

www.kover.pl is the website

biuro@kover.pl for info

That is very good news.

I should renew some cussions in my Clever and would like to do so in the original fabric.

Many thanks for the research

Hello Mike,

I was in contact with the Polish company (thanks to my Polish cleaning lady).
The company doesn’t know about the upholstery. They don’t have it anymore.

How did you get a price? Did you buy the upholstery?
I need to replace both rear cussions so I am looking for at least 6m of it.

Kind regards,

Victor

Hello Victor, thanks for your message.
I think perhaps there is some confusion.
The material that I needed was the golden yellow hull lining material, and not the blue cushion material that I think you may be referring to
Best Regards

Mike,

The golden yellow lining is reversible to the blue one. So it should be the same.
The lady we (My Polish cleaning lady and me) got on the phone didn’t seem to know of a the fabric. So If you have a mail ore some details (Ordernumber) I could refer to in a communication, it would be super.

Kind regards,
Victor

Sorry,
I have no other information
Maybe you should ask if they have the gold material .
They certainly told me that they had it in stock last year.
